It was an interesting year full of countless upsets which made every week of the season seem almost like a playoff weekend. Who would be eliminated, and then later, who would be invited back to the party? The fact that the there were only two possible choices for the national champion by the time the bowls came around was somewhat anti-climactic. We had some many possibilities all season until the last month when only one game mattered.
It's hard to tell how a Division 1A college football playoff would have changed things in 2007. More than likely some of the intrigue of the regular season would have been lost, but I suspect the conclusion would have made it all worth waiting for...
On the season my official picks are 18-13 ATS.
2008 preseason ratings, which are dependent on the NFL draft results, will be some posted sometime after April.
In addition to posting picks here, I do maintain a mailing list and send the picks out as soon as they are up. If you would like to be on the mailing list as well (and no, I don't sell it to anyone), send me an email at bapi@bapi.net
